Two people have been found dead after a house fire in the Republic of Ireland.
The blaze, at a block of flats on Railway Road, Gort, was reported to the emergency services at 02:50 GMT.
The body of a 38-year-old man and a second body, believed to be that of a woman in her 60s, were found at the scene.
The property has been cordoned off for a forensic examination and post mortem examinations will take place later on Thursday.
No one else was injured in the fire.
Firefighters spent more than three hours bringing the blaze under control.
