A fire has caused explosions at a battery recycling centre in the West Midlands, the fire service has said.
The blaze at G and P Batteries Limited on the Crescent Works Industrial Estate in Willenhall Road, Darlaston, broke out at about 01:20 GMT on Tuesday.
The fire service said 60 firefighters tackled the blaze, which involved several tonnes of lithium batteries. It was extinguished by 05:00, it said.
A spokesman for the service said it was too early to say what caused the blaze.
He said all surrounding roads, which were closed overnight, had reopened.
The managing director of G and P Batteries, Michael Green, said there was no damage to the firm building at the site.
